Where It All Began

These pieces bring forth the understanding I am developing for the environment around me. Each piece contains Bindu, the circle of infinite time and space, which encapsulates all time while being juxtaposed in a moment of time.

I was inspired by the concept of being. The totality provided by just being aware of things and how that made me feel. Kabir Sahib had put it quite beautifully, ‘Halke Gaadi Hanko’ – just be with everything around you. He depicts the journey & his truth of life in this bhajan. Comparing the body to a cart driven by the Lord, wherein Maya is holding the reins, taking this life from its beginning to its end.
