Time, Space, Heat and River

Where It All Began

Time, Space, Heat and River is a series pertaining to three concepts which I am in absolute awe of. I have always been intrigued by the nature of these concepts and find ways to learn more about them. What fascinates me is the amount of information we acquire on just about anything. Our inquisition has led us to absorb immense amount of knowledge on some of the most random of things.

Time and Space are concepts which I fathom over the course of my life, and there is still so much about it that I wish to find out. It will be a never-ending journey to explore. 

Heat is energy; the idea of energy being transmitted from one entity to another is enthralling. The spiritual aspect of transferring energy and recognizing the different energy levels of the body and beyond is something I am interested to learn more about.

 River is a personification of the word ‘flow’. It is also quite literal in meaning. I focus on the life underneath the river as well as the movement of its body. I used to be a dancer, and to understand how the body flows from movement to movement inspired me to create this piece of work. There is dynamism and constant change in this entity, I enjoy learning about organisms and life forms which are different from us.

I explored various mediums and strokes to help accentuate all that was going on in my head.
